ALJ School

An anonymous poster on the ALJ Discussion Forum gives an interesting description of the training that the Social Security Administration gives to newly hired Administrative Law Judges (ALJs). It is worth a read. The Commissioner spoke to the group.

Sounds like a normal SSA training class, except the commissioner never came by at any class I have been in.

"The chairs in the class are extremely uncomfortable." I guess the Lazy-Boy recliners are still on order.

Should try sitting in the piece of crap chair I have to sit in everyday. Third new chair that I have been given and the rubber on the arms have split on all three that lets the sharp metal support come through. On the current one the bolts came loose and one of the arms fell off.
