People Are Noticing

Now it is Forbes asking why the Annual Report of the Social Security Trustees has not been issued yet this year. It was supposed to be out on April 1. Forbes puts its own spin on this -- that the delay is an effort to hide Social Security's terrible finances from the public. I doubt that is the reason but I do not know what is.

Social security hiding things wouldn't suprise me none. I suspect the over paid management aint sharing everything they know.

But i don't know as fact.

It's the Medicare part that's delaying things.

That's right--it's all about the Medicare figures as they are affected by Obamacare--not pretty.

I'm surprised Mr. Gokhale even cares what the Trustees think. Read his recent book. It makes a good bedtime story.

Their political affiliations and inclinations are transparent (and unfortunate). See Mr. Warshawsky's Social Security proposal.

As members of the Board, I am sure they could phone up a number of people and find out the reasons for delay. They did not do that. Instead, they published their article.
