Off Topic: Republicans Have Gone Mad

Click on the thumbnail once or twice to see it full size. It is a question from a Newsweek Poll conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International.

Most Republicans believe their President wants to impose Sharia law in the United States? Only 7% of Republicans know this is definitely not true? Where are the Republican grown-ups? How can a party which depends upon the votes of such woefully misinformed people govern?

The next question should have been for people to define Islamic Law... I doubt that many of those polled know what it is.

"Republicans Have Gone Mad"

Not yet but that sounds like a job for the tea party. Actually if the two are compared i suspect the republicans would look as if they are in their right mind.

Of course, the same might be said of those who thought that Barack Obama - once elected - would pay their gas bills, their credit card bills, and other consumer debt. There are woefully misinformed people supporting both parties.

And how many Democrats still believe that gun control laws will control crime. All political parties have certain bizarre fantastic aspects to them that cannot be logically explained.

Have you ever lived in a country that outlaws guns? Have you ever experienced going out to bars at 1 AM there and not seeing a single cop anywhere? Those countries have a good thing going. But clearly the US is THE ONE AND ONLY BEST COUNTRY so you probably don't care.

Oh, and most dems think Obama is weaksauce on the economy and healthcare. They didn't expect him to pay there bills, but they didn't expect him to cater to Republicans either.
