The Wall Street Journal is quoting Republican House Speaker John Boehner as saying that he is determined to offer a budget this Spring that will cut Social Security benefits.

Hopefully, if people come to realize "how big the problem is", they'll also realize that we need to do something to raise revenue. Why are they asking everyone to sacrifice by accepting cuts in programs and services, but not asking people to sacrifice by paying a little more as we go? And, by asking others to sacrifice by paying a lot more as they can afford.
