"More Efficient Delivery Of Service To The Public"

From the South Whidbey, WA Record:
The Social Security Administration will make its last visit to the Langley contact station at the Bayview Senior Center on May 12, the agency has announced.

The reduction in service is part of agency-wide changes that officials said would provide more efficient delivery of service to the public.

Yeah, but they still have money for a Representative Call Center. God forbid attorneys call the regular 800# like the rest of us.

Efficient and effective are two entirely different things. Efficient would be one field office in each state, and one DDS in each region. Anyone up for that?
