President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly appointed Saeed Mortaz (pictured here with Ahmadinejad) to become head of the Iranian Social Security Fund even though there are pending charges against Mortaz for the torture and murder of prisoners.
Bush Administration officials approved illegal interrogation techniques, redefined torture and abandoned the definition set by the 1984 Torture Convention.
Alleging torture of prisoners held at Guatánamo, human rights lawyers brought a case before leading Spanish anti-terror judge Baltasar Garzón. Under Spanish law, courts can prosecute offenses such as torture or war crimes even if they occurred in other countries. Garzón is renowned for having ordered the arrest of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet for the torture and murder of Spanish nationals after his 1973 coup.

And yet, exactly what do your statements have to do with Social Security or for that matter the price of rice in China??
I bet their Social Security system is in better shape than ours and their Congress didn't loot the funds.
