Agenda For Upcoming Conference

I know those of you working for Social Security cannot access this from your offices. I'm sorry but you need to ask the IT people at Social Security to drop this ridiculous restriction. You can always access this from at home.

The computer Nazis are going to let that happen. SSA has a Facebook, Twitter and YouTube account, but those are still all blocked.

Right. And the AEI and their like-minded friends would be the first to run to the media and suggest that SSA's work is backlogged because paid SSA employees occupy their work time with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Why should SSA employees have the ability to access this at work anyway? Not part of our job duties. Anyway, grunts/front line employees have practically no influence on what the "IT guys" allow.

AEI is a right-wing Beltway think tank funded by big business. I wouldn't be surprised if AEI were feeding stuff to NPR and The Atlantic for their hit jobs on Social Security.
