Social Security Sets Up Message Board For Comments On Open Data Project

Social Security has established a message board to allow the public to offer its opinions on the agency's Open Data project which has been mandated by the White House. A number of data sets have been made available to the public as part of this project.

Interesting how the bulk of the suggestions have to do with having much more electronic access to the file (which really means the disability file) which is in keeping with Vision 2025 that AFGE is so vehemently opposed to.

I do think the people who want more electronic access may not realize that such access will reduce the amount of human beings involved in the process. So there may not be anyone left in SSA who will know how to fix the big errors. And we all know that SSA commits big errors, all too frequently.
