Problems Yesterday With Social Security's Online Systems -- Today?

My firm experienced serious problems accessing Social Security online yesterday. We heard from others who were having the same problem. Social Security sent out a broadcast e-mail about the service outage so I know the problem was national. It turns out that it wasn't just the public than was having problems with Social Security's online systems. Social Security's employees were also having problems with their data systems.
I haven't tried to access Social Security online yet today. Anyone know what's going on now?

Update 11:10 am EST: I've tried to get in. I can check on case status but I can't access the electronic folder. It's the same as late yesterday afternoon. It would be nice if you sent out a broadcast e-mail, Social Security.

working fine today. Yesterday, there was a problem that started at about 3:20 pm lasting for less than 20 minutes.

I had two hearings cancelled yesterday because the ODAR's computers were down. 2-3 pm Central time.

9:26 maybe where you were, but in my office the problem lasted a few hours. You could get on, then it would freeze. Reboot, then not be able to get on. Try again, get on, then it would freeze. Rinse and repeat. It cleared up about 5.

Just tried today. You can view your status reports, but cannot access the electronic folders.

Was unable to access anything yesterday in ARS and was unable to file appeals either. Today I can access files but am unable to download them. Have not tried filing appeals yet.

Whenever this happens of late it seems that we get rolling or roving brownouts. I could not get into client files for awhile yesterday and that resolved itself, then could not again in the evening. This morning I got closed out during an upload, but soon got back online. I have had no problems getting into efiles so far today. I always wonder if some people get less service on an intermittent basis due to system capacity issues.

We were slow / down for 2 hours yesterday. There is a single device roll out which I suspect is the culprit.

A1:49: what's a single device roll out?
