There are meetings for preventing suicides, poverty and homelessness... The next day there's a meeting about understanding the emotional and physical impact of chronic pain... Seems to me if they understood the impact of chronic pain, there would be more approvals... resulting in less suicides, poverty and homelessness!

I would be interested in the definition of homeless they are using. Homeless, for many, isn't the publics thoughts of a person on the street. Homeless includes the couch surfers moving from friend to friend and making it one day at a time.

Is there a tracking of suicides while an active application is in process? Any studies that show the number, nationwide of those on benefits, after denial or redetermination that complete? I would be interested in the numbers. Our local area has seen a decrease in 2017 so far.
