U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) announced the Committee will convene for a hearing entitled, “Exploring Process Approaches for Addressing Social Security Solvency” on WednesdayAugust 5, at 10:00 AM.

  1. Raise the cap and reduce the COLA…next issue. This hearing is a stunt in order the pretend that the SSA solvency issue is being addressed prior to the midterms.

  2. As long as the GOP is running congress benefit cuts and raising the retirement age will be on the table.
