Larson Loses Primary

      John Larson, the ranking member of the House Social Security Subcommittee, lost his Connecticut primary race to hang on to his seat in the House of Representatives.

  4. John Larson was in hibernation and he can now enjoy his retirement. We need fighters in Congress and not an occasional social media post.

  5. John Larson has lost his fastball years ago. One can’t stand by and have the agency go down the path of a 22% across the board cut to all beneficiaries. He has been in Congress since January 1999 and SSA solvency has been an issue for years. It’s time move on and address the issue head on.

    1. Just in case you've forgotten, John Larson proposed the Social Security 2100 Act over 10 years ago to address the programs' solvency. He's introduced several variations of that legislation and has been a constant fighter to expand benefits. His presence in Congress will be sorely missed.
