... [O]n June
18, 2013, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will establish a
dedicated MySocialSecurity (MySSA) Help Desk to assist the public with
MySSA related issues. SSA will implement prompts to the existing
National 800 Number that will route callers with MySSA related questions
to the dedicated Help Desk for resolution. On June 25, 2013, we will
introduce an option for the public to request and receive call-backs
from the Help Desk via a MySSA Contact Us page.
Meanwhile, the
Better Business Bureau is warning about fraud associated with MySSA.
Yeah, but it's in WBDOC, and I doubt if management there will allow the reps to spend the time to actually help people. Management has the 800# mindset, get them off the phone as fast as possible. Quantity, not quality.
ReplyDeleteWhat nonsense. There's something radically wrong with the website for SSA. It constantly crashes. It was down from May 30, 2014 to June 2. It was working yesterday, June 3, but as of today, June 4, the SSA website has yet again crashed.
ReplyDeleteHow you a call back if you are leaving in Germany; when the phone number field is limited to 10 digit?
ReplyDeleteYeah really how can I contact the help desk if I reside in a foreign country that does not allow 800 numbers. Besides the fact that the web page for signing up for the My account requires that the field for "Middle Name" be filled in and I do not have a middle name hence I can not sign up
