So ends one of the craziest episodes in social security disability history. Bribes, over-the-top TV ads, a Senate investigation, careers imploding on live TV during the Coburn hearing, Astrue and Black leaning on DOJ and OIG to further investigate when their investigations were flagging, cheating on a grand scale in plain view - the whole thing just doesn't seem real. He goes from getting 12 years at, more than likely, Bernie Madoff's country club to a 20 year+ stint at Leavenworth. Hope those 6 months of freedom were worth it!
