It does for now. We'll see if that continues when the local offices reopen (hint - it didn't for large numbers of offices before the Covid shutdown, for those offices it just pointed to 1-800-Dial-an-Idiot).
Before COVID, SSA refused to provide the field office telephone numbers. When my colleagues and I requested the FO phone numbers, we received a fee estimate. Why does the public need to pay to reach the local SSA office? This seems highly unethical and illegal.
Actually, since the Covid Crisis the SSA office locator webpage gives phone number and fax number for the FO or DO. Not too hard.
