Well, I guess tomorrow we will start determining how much of a factor remote work was in negatively affecting service. If the detractors on this blog are correct, the improvement in service should be immediate and noticeable. I do not think that will happen but will welcome it if it does.
I do not expect an immediate improvement, that would be totally unrealistic given the backlogs of service needed. I suspect it will take years to recover from the shift.
