Aged cases were prioritized in September to try to close them by end of year. October went back to the normal FIFO system of processing cases, which likely didn’t include a lot of aged cases that had already been closed. As a result the APT dropped because the closed cases were newer. I’m sure it’ll go back up again somewhat, but the majority of scheduled cases are newer and the unwritten decisions in October are newer.
How did average processing time suddenly drop to 370 days? It was 458 in September. Did OHO just stop handling aged cases?
