From Social Security. Note they still refer to it as ODAR. How many years has it been since that name was changed? Has the overtime now ended at OHO?:

I still call it ODAR in my head so it works for me, there was no real reason to change the name anyway.
ReplyDeleteDudek reorg’d OHO, OAO, ODD, and OQR under the “new” Office of Disability Adjudication, ODA. Maybe that’s where the new (old) acronym is coming from?
ReplyDeleteAll that proves is that he is committed to changing the stationery. Watch for the email announcing the savings of millions of dollars by eliminating the ALJs and staff of the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. "We found an entire department performing exactly the same tasks as the Office of Hearings Operations! By eliminating this shameful duplication, we have again tamed this wasteful Social Security Administration! Just part of THIS Administration's plan for more efficient government!" Sheesh...

ReplyDeleteWe’ve had OT up until today, when it was cancelled “effective immediately” per my GS.

ReplyDeleteTo inform the workforce & public about the workload & productivity. They should publish more stats like that, aim for true transparency. Theoretically it should lead to greater accountability and more helpful comments and suggestions.
DeleteOT was available through March 14. Due to uncertainty with budget, not sure that it will continue past that.
ReplyDeleteAvailability of OT is dependent on the hearing office. Some haven't had it since the end of FY24. Some haven't since the end of the calendar year. Some just recently had it ended.
