Some of us who answered "no" are not necessarily Astrue fans. I would like to see the job become less political and that won't happen if commissioners resign before the end of their terms.
Wanting the COSS job to be less political is laudable. But, hopeless, I fear. To say that this COSS fails to impress me favorably puts it mildly, and I'm a retired FO manager. Hate to think how I'd rate him if I were still out there soldiering on. All I hear about this COSS from my friends who are still in SSA is zip, zippo, zilch, nada. That's never a good sign. (Next time I'll tell you how I really feel. :)
I have wondered how many field office employees vs central office employees might be reading this blog. Now I know.
ReplyDeleteHey, how about doing an AFGE favorability poll?
