The Social Security Administration today announced the closing of a component within the agency, the Office of Transformation. Employees in this office will be put on administrative leave effective today. …
The new actor commissioner appears to be stepping outside his lane. His role is to keep the agency operating until the permanent commissioner is confirmed.
Leland Dudek should look in the mirror to eliminate fraud and waste.
“President Trump has mandated the Federal government eliminate wasteful and inefficient offices and the Office of Transformation was a prime example,” said Lee Dudek, Acting Commissioner of Social Security. “This redundant office was created under the previous administration and we are righting that wrong.”
Gods plan? The plan is to figure out how to pay for the 4.5 trillion in Republican tax cuts. This plan is just after one shall not steal.
Rep. Mark Alford (R-MO) gave cold comfort to federal workers who have been laid off under President Donald Trump by telling them that the loss of their jobs is part of God’s plan.
Federal employees are given a SECOND chance to respond to the email! We are officially in the CLOWN CAR!
Tech billionaire Elon Musk said federal employees will get a second chance to respond to an email asking for a recap of their last week’s accomplishments — or else face termination.
“Subject to the discretion of the President, they will be given another chance,” Musk wrote on X on Monday, referring to federal employees who did not respond to an initial email asking them to list 5 things they accomplished in the week prior by 11:59 p.m. Monday or face removal.
What he’s doing is saying, ‘Are you actually working?’” Trump said in the Oval Office during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. “And then, if you don’t answer, like, you’re sort of semi-fired or you’re fired, because a lot of people aren’t answering because they don’t even exist.”
Do you want electronic signatures, more and better online forms and applications? Well, that is what the Office of Transformation did. Ever leave feedback on the website or ssa.gov/feedback, or respond to an SSA survey? This team read your response and pushed your comments to leadership. Talking directly to claimants to hear about what's not working? Yup, this team did that too! And yet they are denigrated, fired and called wasteful. Public servants dedicated to helping real people every single day were illegally fired, and the agency is all the worse for it.

Third time's a Charm?
DeleteThe Office of Transformation?! I've been at SSA for 30 years and never heard of such a monstrosity. Good riddance.
ReplyDeleteYou have been at SSA for 30 years and you don't even know your own Agency?! Good riddance is right. You're fired!
DeletePerformative ignorance.
DeleteCan somebody breakdown what semi fired means?

Why are they not being reassigned? Does Leland think there is too little work to be done? Was anyone in that office hired for that specific purpose?
