You Can Almost Feel Sorry For Lee Dudek

Here are some interesting messages from the Secretary of Homeland Security to then Acting Commissioner of Social Security Leland Dudek back in April. Note the stern, commanding tone of the messages. Note also the complete lack of legal underpinning for what is being demanded. These were posted by Social Security itself. By the way, Dudek, who apparently has a Twitter account, liked and retweeted my tweet about this. As always, click on the images below to view full size.

It's reasonable to assume that this list of "suspected terrorists" included individuals merely exercising their right to free speech, writing editorials regarding foreign policy.
Are these more of the fake death dates that have ruined the integrity of the Numident?

Slow news day? Nothing to see here. Lee served honorably and saved thousands of jobs.

Charles, are you serious? You “almost” feel sorry for Leland Dudek? Leland, forgot to put on his big boy pants when he went along with the scheme. Everybody has options.

No, we don’t even need to be within 200 miles of feeling sorry for Dudek. He’s playing the victim now (liking your tweet; really?!) because his stupid power play inevitably ended badly for him. But he certainly had no qualms about targeting thousands upon thousands of hardworking, innocent SSA workers to fire (or make vulnerable to firing via Schedule F) - more even than other agencies, more than what the Administration was looking for - because he thought it would help him long term. Reap, sow, etc.

Leland, you must be online constantly while on “alleged” administrative leave. You think this is an appropriate use of taxpayer money?

"almost" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

No sympathy for Dudek. Bro backstabbed his way to be the Austro-Hungarian army marching band director in July 1914. Armed only with a trumpet, he was promptly shelled by Russian artillery.

Amazing how easily it was to weaponize the SSA. A sad day for.anyone who believed in the agency's actual mission. SSA was not intended to be immigration, i.e., DHS' tool.

This comment is just plain BS. No I do not feel sorry for Lee, he was a hot head in OSOHE. The executives should have accepted his resignation when he quit in OSOHE.

Agreed. Dudeck is a traitor to the Agency and all staff. Remember prior to his stint as Commish he was put an admin leave for leaking internal information to DOGE.

I assume he was put in tenuous moral positions as Commissioner but the joker volunteered for it.

If anyone eventually seeks to hold the death master list falsifiers accountable, these may be useful. Posting them on the SSA website? That’s about as smart as going to a Cold Play concert with…well you know.

We really, really don't have to feel sorry for him. He wrecked this agency.

Yeah what about the waste fraud and abuse of keeping him on the payroll.

Even Dudek didn’t bring the sabatoge coming August 1. All CSRs getting assigned to 800# duties. Union just put this out to its members.

Anonymous said...

Unions don’t exist under this administration. Elections have consequences.

That'll end well. CSRs all going to the TSC. Can't wait to watch the fireworks.

Apparently nobody up top knows what a CSR does.
