If you’re eligible and able to vote but not voting anyway, then you don’t deserve anything better than a life of miserable oppression and poverty. And I don’t want to hear one word of complaining from you about gas prices, housing prices, or anything else.

Everybody should look closely at the candidates campaign platforms since federal employees jobs may be on the chopping block.

I agree and add if a male voter chooses not to vote for harris simply because the candidate is a woman or is of color the above apply.

I love the "Maybe" choice. "Have you voted?" "Maaaayyybeeeee." (No, I didn't click that, I found it a bit humorous, BUT, as a child I was taught that politics are private, so I understand why that is there).

My vote doesnt really count in the national election, my state is the same every precedential election, I still vote but it doesnt matter. The local issues are more important. So I vote for those. Unless your in a battleground state, we dont even get rallies. Just marginalized by GIS gerrymandering and party line votes. It seems really pointless sometimes.

Remember the protest and violence after Trump was elected? let's not forget that Charles

I voted early (every registered voter got a ballot I he mail) but generally like the idea of voting on election day. However, a friend of ours had a parent die yesterday so he flew to another state to see the parent before his death. He's staying for the funeral so won't be home to vote. He's also in a swing state. I have no idea if he voted early and it's not important on his life now. But it did make me think about just voting on election day.

Fake news. I was living in DC after the last two presidential elections. There were a couple trashcan fires after the Trump win, and a Nazi got punched, but there was nothing on par with the extreme violence that took place on January 6, 2021.

Ha! Comments are turned off. Democracy flourishes without criticism.

Well, we can all see your comment, so what's your criticism?

With the Republican sweep, I wonder what the chances are of Social Security workers holding on to their current telework levels? I am not going to start commuting every day again, I'll walk before I do that.

That should be the least of your problems since major cuts are coming in many agencies.

He‘ll cut funding for direct benefits received by the citizens at large. But the federal workforce is only going to grow. Same as every other republican administration.
