All of this to “save” peanuts in terms like of federal budget and ssa admin costs. Just ridiculous. Shameful. No one not even in private sector reorgs. Everything at once and without study. Unless its a fire sale bankruptcy
You are correct. As far as I know he is on a 30 day detail. This is true for a couple of people who took reassignments. They are being asked to do a detail in their original positions for 30 days.
Reducing regions was long overdue. After all the pressure on frontline workers, given technological advances, it was high time to look at the agency's outdated management structure and make changes
Great, now how about we get updated charts several levels below this? Because no one knows who still works here or has been reassigned, or what offices even still exist. It's a complete crap shoot every day to know if an email or call is going to get answered or black boxed.
@12:18: not sure which component you work in, and hopefully not somewhere so narrow focused because FOs are struggling with finding the assistance once provided by their ROs. I don’t disagree with you about management, I mean it’s unspoken about who gets promoted by who is trending up and friends with which is why we are where we at.
Rumor is that commutes via private jet from NJ. However, he has been present at the agency, )with his private security detail). He has even interacted with the minions in the cafeteria.

"SSA organization" is an oxymoron.
If they could update this internally so we would know who is left and who works where, that would be great.
What happened to the former acting DCO Doris Diaz?
Why does OGC have up to 7 offices, when the agency is limited to 4 regions now?
For comparison purposes, does anyone have the Organizational Chart from 5 months ago?

Shameful
I don't see Dudek's name anywhere...
The OGC offices are no longer tied to regions but handle specific types of law nationwide. This predates Trump. https://www.ssa.gov/org/ogc.htm
I thought there was an announcement that Jeffrey Buckner took reassignment to a mission-critical position?
Is Frank Bisignano at HQ each day? What’s the mood?

Are a lot of these "office" heads still SES? OGC pay levels are so inflated

Linda Kerr Davis has retired
His linkedin has an "open to work" filter on his picture...but it still has him as a senior advisor in the office of program integrity.
From what I understand he’s there 4 days a week. I haven’t personally seen him though so that’s just what we were told.
How so? Their pay cap is far below the average pay for a private sector attorney with similar experience and qualifications.
Sounds like you’re just bitter and seriously lacking in self-awareness.

He works out of the empty NYRO. Special rules for “special” people

Here's an update for the org chart: https://www.bet.com/article/8dmbo2/she-worked-until-her-last-breath-tragedy-highlights-federal-workforce-strain
I hope the family sues DOGE.
One thing I liked about Commissioner O'Malley was that he was in the Woodlawn complex often. I'd see him in the hallway.
