Bisignano Declines To Answer Questions

      From the Los Angeles Times:

The head of the IRS largely declined to answer questions about recent unlawful disclosures of taxpayer data when he was questioned by lawmakers at a congressional hearing on Wednesday, saying they happened before his tenure began.  …

“Was anyone fired? Was anyone disciplined? Was anyone held accountable? Was anyone held to account?” Rep. Mike Thompson (D-Calif.) asked Bisignano.

Bisignano cited ongoing litigation and declined to answer questions about the disclosures, adding, “I don’t want to debate the numbers.” …

A Democratic chairman of the Committee would not allow Bisignano to decide which questions he wouldn’t  answer which is why Bisignano will quickly decide to spend more time with his family and his fortune if Democrats seize control of either the Senate or House in November.

Frank was under the impression that he was going on FoxNews or CNBC and answer a couple of softball questions.

He (or anyone else being questioned by congress) should not be able to not answer a question unless the plea the 5th....which is suspicious. These people don't know how to answer questions worth a crap.... or they argue or and attack congress.... IDK how that is ok, but apparently it is.

Frank and his DOGE team should recite this amendment by heart.

“On the advice of counsel, I invoke my fifth amendment privilege against self-incrimination and respectfully decline to answer your question.

I hear Alina Habba and Lindsey Halligan are available since they have no clients. A win win situation for everyone.

Are you still wearing your MAGA glasses?

How is anyone taking this whole "running two agencies" thing with any sort of seriousness. The whole premise is a joke and diminishes both agencies.

You need a vision exam and a hearing test ASAP. Maybe a stroke or aneurysm evaluation too if you think his testimony was magnificent
