Depending on the methodology and updated inflation data, some actuarial estimates forecast the 2027 standard rate slightly higher, closer to $221.00. The official Part B premium rates are finalized and announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) each year in November.

Stay tuned for new projections since
the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closed.

Oil prices have steadied following a recent rally, with global benchmark Brent crude holding below $85 a barrel and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) trading under $80. The stabilization comes as markets weigh escalating U.S.-Iran tensions and shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz against the prospects of profit-taking.

U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) inventories have dropped to around 316 million barrels, roughly half of their designed capacity and the lowest levels seen since 1983.

“Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make America affordable again, to bring down the prices of all goods.”

How's that working out for you on day 544?

One percentage point higher, not one percent higher.
