Living Rent Free In Bisignano’s Head

Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano seems a little obsessed with his predecessor, Martin O’Malley.

Makes sense. Writing Trumpy op-eds is probably the quid pro quo for Bisignano’s blanket pardon.

Great alternative facts…

As the current SSA commissioner, I am leading a digital-first transformation at the agency to give every American better and faster service. The average speed of answer for the National 800 Number in November was nearly cut in half, with a higher percentage of calls being answered compared to last year under former Commissioner Martin O’Malley

So glad SSA is maintaining its non-partisan approach. Yes, I realize this isn't the first partisan Commissioner we have had. But like everything in the corrupt and incompetent trump administration, this "news article" is full of partisan lies.

Where’s the lie? Marty’s policies decimated my office and caused record low morale.

If your office’s morale is higher now than it was before, it’s probably safe to assume you hate the public you serve.

Bragging about accomplishments and spinning the details is standard operating position, but that level of overt partisanship is essentially unprecedented in an SSA commissioner.

Having said that, O’Malley has in fact been engaging in fear mongering since leaving office, and has been proven wrong so far in his dire predictions. And all of his exaggerated doomsaying actually scared real people regarding the reliability of their ongoing benefits. Shame on him as well.

Frank can meet with journalists with ultra conservative publications. Other publications will ask him about his transformation of fiserv and crashing the companies stock by 70%. And his lawyers would prefer he not answer questions related to fiserv

@9:00: Going to go out on a limb and guess you were one of those who was mad your previous Commissioner before Martin and Frank was a black woman with an “ethnic” sounding name.
