From a press release issued yesterday:

… U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) hosted Social Security Administration (SSA) Commissioner Frank Bisignano in Charleston, W.Va. to visit the social security field office. During the visit, Senator Capito and Commissioner Bisignano met with staff to discuss the improved customer service taking place. …

Improved customer service taking place? Does Frankie have the stats to proves this allegation? Wait, there is no available stats since they don’t make that information public and we are supposed to “trust” him? I wonder if Frankie took questions from the staff or was this another DC type of photo op like his boss.

I wonder how the staff at Charleston West Virginia felt about the “special” guest appearance.

… U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) trying to keep her seat at the Senate use the Commissioner of SSA to get positive publicity in order to get re-elected and prove MAGA strong?

She also has just enough MAGA cred. She supports Trump and his policies, but she doesn’t get caught up in the fever dream like some on the Trump bandwagon.  That irritates the far right, which is why she has MAGA-inspired opponents — but consider what Trump said about her in social media post earlier this month.
“Senator Shelley Moore Capito is doing a tremendous job representing the Wonderful People of West Virginia, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024,” Trump said while adding that she “has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. SHE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN.”

Newsweek reported that WV lost 11% of its field office staff between March 2024 and March 2025, a greater percentage than any state except Wyoming and Montana. https://www.newsweek.com/map-states-social-security-field-office-staff-reduced-2111801

Did the staff have the opportunity to ask questions?

Why would they bother? What answers could the clueless twit actually provide to them?

I'm surprised he doesn't wear a wireless earpiece just so someone can tell him what to say so he won't make even more of a fool of himself than he already does.

Actually who cares where he is at SSA's service is substandard.

"Substandard" is actually an insufficient description at this point. I more trend towards "wretchedly deficient" as a better descriptor of SSA service at this point.

Of course, this is what happens when the American public elects morally bankrupt people to positions of authority, because morally bankrupt people tend to run in self-supporting packs like feral dogs.
