The North Carolina State Bar has posted a
list of topics covered on the examination they gave in November 2006 to applicants to become certified as Social Security Disability Law specialists. The list appears below. The NC State Bar is the only state bar so far which has certified specialists in Social Security Disability Law. The
National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) also certifies specialists in Social Security Disability Law, although no state other than Tennessee fully accepts the NBTA Social Security Disability Law certification, to the best of my knowledge.
