Happy New Year to ALL!! Hopefully, our 2018 resolution will be an equality for all employees emphasis at SSA. No more making fun or demeaning surveys about Asian-American employees and their plight in this SSA related external websites or within any internal components at SSA. This type of entrenched abuse is probably why SSA is recently ranked 12th out of the largest 16 Federal agencies. A pathetically shameful embarrassment from a 6th place just less than 3 years ago!!?? I predict that this would probably be a continuous downward trend should this type of hypocritical mentality is allowed to be practiced. Would any one person, component or website be dared to cowardly act as such towards other more protected minority groups?! I doubted not.
Continuing with the theme of 12:36’s remarks, workplace bullying, mobbing, and abuse, (not mere incivility), has been at an all time high at SSA/OHO the past several years, and no particular class of people has been immune from becoming a target. I sincerely hope 2018 brings in a refreshing New Years for all SSA/OHO employees, and one in which there is finally full Accountability for those who choose to engage in this type of conduct, whether they are Management or coworkers.
