The Social Security Administration has issue a press release saying that they've redesigned their website. The press release says that the agency's website is getting about 180 million hits a year.
Not bad! Definitely an improvement over prior website. Now SSA just needs rehaul the back end IT infrastructure to improve functionality and expand online services. Much harder than a website redesign, but also much more useful. Bewildering how little progress had been made on this front considering the desperate situation SSA finds itself in. The worker shortage would be much less of a problem if they enabled attorneys to do more of the work themselves...start by giving us client status list access at the app/recon levels.
I like a little better. I'm always annoyed by all those smiling people taking up space and serving no purpose. I like nice big print that helps me get to what I need.
