I took a look at Donald Trump’s recently released tax returns. Despite being well past age 70, he hasn’t reported Social Security benefit payments. Maybe he didn’t bother to apply. Maybe he didn’t have a history of wages that would qualify him. For that matter, Melania isn’t receiving Social Security benefits either but she’s only 52.
Trump is so grasping, it would be hard for me to imagine him not reaching out for the income but he’s so incompetent I can suppose it wouldn’t have occurred to him.
By the way, please, if you’re a Social Security employee, don’t try to look up Trump’s earnings record. You won’t succeed but you will be fired.
Also by the way, President Biden is receiving Social Security retirement benefits.

Trump doesn't collect his social security benefits because he is generously sacrificing his benefits for the good of the whole. If you believe that, I have some swamp land to sell you.

This guy you despise served as president for four years and donated his paychecks to charity. His net worth dropped due to his public service. Considering that, why are you surprised he's not taking social security. But, on the other side, Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, the Clintons, the Obamas, and lots of other politicians became very wealthy while in public service. Yet, you think Trump is the greedy one?

I'd say he wouldn't because he sees it as welfare, but when the hell has that ever stopped him?
It's quite possible he's dumb enough to not know he can file for it too.
most likely he does not have enough [40 for max] quarters of coverage as he cheated on his taxes and reported no wages

He'd have earned 5 years of quarters when he was President. If he turned down his salary, it wouldn't show as a charitable deduction.
This is too much fun. He shows self employment and should have earned QCs from that. He was President and paid a salary that apparently was paid (should have a w-2 for each year). https://www.snopes.com/news/2019/12/13/president-trump-salary-donation/ if you enlarge the picture of the donation, it's from a Trump account, suggesting he got paid and then had funds to donate. But if he got the money, he got the QCs as an employee as well. So with his documented SEI he should have plenty of QCs. And he did report some wages on his returns, just not enough to match his salary. So yes, lots of questions about just how good his accounbtants are in being compliant with the law. Bless his little heart....
