And you made it despite constant Republican warnings that you were about to collapse.

Great. Can't wait for the flurry of emails today from SSA "leadership" about this and how employees are dedicated and working so hard while every single operations employee does the work of like 5 employees daily. Wonderful.
The only thing that happens, in 2034, not 2033, is the trust funds are set to exhaust. We will stay be able to pay benefits to existing and new beneficiaries with incoming FICA taxes. The only way for Congress to kill the program is to abolish the FICA tax, which isn't happening.
IF the republicans (and many democrats) would do almost anything other than sabotage and underfund Social Security, this could be a great progrm for the next 100 or more years.
Social security employees are just like other employees...there are a small percentage of great employees, a good amount of average employees and definitely a portion of terrible employees that should be fired. Welcome to life. Is the same everywhere. Legal teams put up with a lot now days unfortunately.

Time to retire the program and start something that actually works.
Today is the birthday and in 2033 will we have the funeral? Can they keep it alive so I can stay alive?
