DOGE Requests SCOTUS Intervention

      From The Hill:

The Trump administration on Friday asked the Supreme Court to let the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access millions of Americans’ personal data stored by the Social Security Administration (SSA) while it appeals an order that iced the advisory group out.

The emergency application asks the justices to lift a Maryland federal judge’s injunction blocking DOGE from poking around the SSA’s systems that contain personally identifiable information, including Social Security numbers, medical and mental health records, bank data, and earnings history.  …

There are plenty of people willing to give them whatever numbers they want. They already are. They will have absolutely no clue what they are looking at without the help of experts. Begs the question of whether or not this is for nefarious purposes.

What has DOGE done that hasn’t been nefarious and aimed at lining the pockets of our lord and savior Elon Musk?

But why would they need our medical and mental health records? Even our bank data and earning history? Does that make any sense??

The apathy regarding these internal attacks on the US government is astounding. The very fact that they are fighting so hard to gain access should raise alarms. The disregard for PII and all those who safeguard it at risk of being fired is shameful.

They plan to loot the Treasury via crypto. Oldest trick in the book!

DOGE got in there earlier, or at least have one person at SSA. As a computer professional, I wonder if they have implemented a "backdoor" that allows DOGE to get at information over the internet anyway. Same thing for all agencies, actually.

And I just got a reminder I have not completed my security training. But why do I even have to do it if we have DOGE doing whatever with all our most sensitive information? What a joke!

It is the best and largest database to use to train an AI, all the info is there, one spot, formatted and ready to exploit.

Agreed, I just took that this morning and the question about data aggregation was laughable. What do they think DOGE is doing
