FO workers stealing directly from the claimants, but tell me again how Elon, DOGE and Big Balls are the problem? And how SSA need not change a thing because it's so perfect?
How does one think that they will get away with that? Just seems dumb
Glad DOGE is catching this fraud and holding staff accountable.
Tell me again how this resembles in any way the fraud that Elon was falsely claiming existed? Tell me again how Elon or DOGE had anything to do with stopping this fraud?
SSA has internal controls and an IG to catch and prosecute internal fraudsters. That’s what happened here. The controls worked.
Based on both the timing, and the lack of grandiose tweets from DOGE or Elon trying to take credit for this, I’m sure they had nothing to do with catching this.
DOGE didn’t catch this, read the article.
DOGE has nothing to do with this and this kind of stupid employee fraud is routinely quickly caught. Nothing DOGE did would help this at all, quite the opposite since they fired or reassigned most of the people who would catch this stuff going forward.
You realize DOGE didn’t have anything to do with stopping this fraud. Read the article.
DOGE had nothing to do with catchng this fraud. SSA has had the technology in place for years to catch this sort of activity by their employees.
Nice non sequitur. Tell me how DOGE would have prevented this. Sounds like the system already worked to catch the wrongdoer.
