Social Security turns 75 on August 14, 2010. Social Security is already soliciting suggestions on how to celebrate the occasion.

They should celebrate by not spending any money on a celebration and instead showing they used money that could have been used to hire more people to move more cases. Does no one remember the concept of austerity from previous decades?
I just hope they don't go overboard with the celebration. Something modest and brief will be best. Anything more will not play well with the public and could send the wrong message.
