Union Contract Negotiations News

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) union represents most Social Security employees. Since last summer, AFGE and Social Security have been in negotiations over a new contract. I just discovered that AFGE is posting regular updates on the status of the negotiations on its website. Interesting reading.

The Union is screwed. It threw all its eggs in the Obamacrats basket, and they're scrambled. The negotiations are going just about exactly as they would have if Bush were still president. SSA is a fiefdom unto itself, and always has been. Electing the most left-wing president in American history has made no difference.
