Over 60000 employees at SSA and only 27000 in the field office. And we wonder why there are problems.

Or the number of people, roughly 10,000 per day, every day for the next 35 years do the application for Medicare or Retirement online and it still has to be done by the CR in the service area that they live in. So they may not be in the office but the CR still has to do the triggering work.

False. RIBs and Medicare only claims are handled in various Workload Support Units across the country. But it is true that review and triggering must be done by a CS.
