This is a blog about Social Security; why get political? Maybe some of your audience are Conservatives and maybe they supported Trump.
Disability is hard enough, without these kinds of posts!

The pants should be solid red and the bottom of the shoe must include a hammer and sickle. The spats are OK as more common to entrenched elites on either side. There, I fixed it for you.

The Trump administration was no fan of SSD. His proposed budgets repeatedly called for cuts to SSD. His proposed rules would have make it harder to obtain benefits. Anyone who cares about SSD, either as a rep, SSA employee, or claimant, should be glad he is our of office.

See 11:01's comment above. I'll add, it's important to actually inform people of these facts, preferably while he was in office, and not just be glad he is gone. People are obviously free to have political opinions on the extent/existence of social programs, but the ignorance of many on the right as to the actual policy positions of the Trump administration needs to be confronted. The number of times I heard someone supported Trump because they thought he wanted to expand some element of the social safety net was incredible.

Good bye any possiblity of return to best economy in decades. Hello high gas prices. Hello to continued expansion of government and an explosion in already ridiculous spending and deficits. Goodbye to religious freedom. Hello to an all out assault on second amendment rights. Hello to sending trillions to other countries in the name of "climate change." Hello to globalism, again. Goodbye to fair elections. Hello higher unemployment. Hello to higher taxes. Hello to more and more job killing regulations. Hello Venezuela!

The ignorance of those who voted for Biden needs to be confronted. Spoke with a 30 something the other day who said she voted for Biden because Trump was awful. Asked why Trump was awful. She didn't really know, just that he is evil. She admitted she didn't know anything about Biden. Then she asked me "What is Socialism?" That is your typical younger Biden voter.

What a crock 4:43. America supports this program and lots of Trumpers depend on it. Trumpers that depend on it were just ignorant of the fact Trump wanted to destroy it. Buh Bye Donny!

@4:43

11:19 here. Good story. Happy to hear she voted for Biden.

Thanks!

Oh yes all you Biden bashers, Trump did a fabulous job. Let me count the ways (all numbers approximate) over 400,000 dead and millions infected from a virus that he politicized and failed to handle with any sense of responsibility. But oh yes, he blocked flights from China and made the States take charge. He divided the United States into at least 2 parts, Red and Blue. Millions of people are homeless, about to be homeless, out of work, out of food and were almost out of hope until Biden won. Oh, but let's not forget that the stock market climbed over 30K, what a great economy. Make sure you tell that to the people referenced above.

But you say his immigration policies were excellent. Let's see, he separated thousands of children from their parents and they still have not all been reunited. He kept out farm workers causing delays in getting food to market. He stopped a minimum of illegal immigrants.

He gave up his salary you say, but how many millions did he make just in charging the secret service to stay at his hotels at full price.

I could go on but it doesn't matter because Trump cult members are brain washed. You will say the same about Democrats but at least people are a front and center concern under our plans.

Find your humanity and come join us.

As Stephen Miller said, elections have consequences. Thank God they do.
