Social Security has finally posted the SSI Annual Report. Some Republican Senators tried to make an issue over the report being filed late.

Actual page 8 kind of says it all - "Assistance of Last Resort". That is baked into the program from day one. All discussin on how to make it better pushes against that world view.

This report was transmitted to Congress on October 26.
The whinging Senators wrote their letter on October 28.
I can't tell you the exact day it was posted, but I am sure it was up the last time Charles posted about it Oct 31.
