I'm just about to leave for work, so my time is limited. I don't deny the telephone disruptions, but if anyone does have time to parse out the article, is the disruption the fault of SSA specifically or is it the fault of Verizon/Avaya? I'll have more time to read the article after work to see what details I can find.
To 7:28 So assuming that VerizonAvaya failed, does that excuse the SSA that hired them to perform those services in the face of repeated failures over two years?
Staffing shortages and bad vendor performance are just excuses for an agency seemingly bent on proving the Republican case that Government can't do anything right.

Keep going with the lowest bidder. You get what you for.
