Former Acting Commissioner Leland Dudek has written an Op Ed for the New York Post about the “media’s Social Security hysteria”. It’s about what you’d expect.

Yes, we get a bit hysterical when the agency disrespects privacy rights, uses its powers for political retribution, causes a massive loss of institutional knowledge and expertise, and implements an inadequately vetted AI phone bot that frustrates callers more than it assists them.
Leland Dudek pens his opinion piece to the very conservative and trashy NY Post. It make sense since the article belongs in the circular file. Wondering why Dudek has so much time on his hands when he should be in a courtroom trying to defend his actions while SSA was being destroyed.,
Does anyone know if he is still at SSA? He isn’t listed on any staff orgchart and his teams location reflects his old position which doesn’t exist anymore.
Yahoo Finance published an article yesterday (5/26), but it links to the original op-ed (5/6). https://finance.yahoo.com/news/former-social-security-head-says-160000022.html
As someone who participated in leading the Social Security Fairness Act, I take offense at claiming the SSFA is Trump's, Dudek's, or DOGE's accomplishment. "Long delayed" what a ridiculous statement. This team was well prepared and despite the chaos underfoot adapted to accomplish this within 100 days of BIDEN signing the SSFA into law. Dudek still trying to be relevant when he is a nobody -- less than a nobody. The wake of chaos will last long after everyone has forgotten who these people are. Of course his op ed is in the NYP -- a piece of trash.
The OHE AC should have followed through and terminated Lee when Lee got angry and threatened to quit about 10 years ago. Lee has anger issues. But that makes him a great trumper.
Yep. 100% on track for a year or longer. The team was all hung up on the notices. Dudek cut through that bull. Same with N8NN. He signed the field expansion to AWS, at the protest of the CIO.

Lee has drunk to much of the orange god's kool-aid.
Cute that he thinks he's relevant.

Leland, you forgot to mention that you let the DOGE burglar's into our private data.
Time for a diaper change Lee. You’re full of it.
It sounds like he is doing a good job. Of course, he wrote it.
This is old news - the oped is from May 6, and Charles had a post about it that same day.
Were you referring to some new op ed? The linked article is weeks old.

His LinkedIn profile says “Open to Work.” Someone hire him, please. He’s all yours…
