I'm hearing that Social Security is having a significant problem with its ERE system. Attorneys aren't able to upload files. This has been going on since Monday and is a national problem.
By the way, I'm calling it ERE but, honestly, I don't know what the official name is now. It's gone by various names. ERE (Electronic Records Express) is the oldest name and, I think, the name most commonly used by attorneys representing claimants.

Started last week in Illinois, we have not been able to upload since Thurs last week.
My assistant tell me that the phone numbers to the payment center in Baltimore won't ring through. It's been that way for the last couple of days. She's trying to correct an incorrect fee calculation and not having any luck. What's going on?
Odds are that there is no staff manning the product or the helpdesk. The support components keeping ERE and the new Appointed Rep product afloat have been dismantled. Good luck, you might want to call Congress or POTUS, or Musk. Not sure who's in charge anymore.
Basic fact, systems and other issues happening because no one is there to fix things. All ROs and PSC support have been decimated by forced reassignments and other nefarious ways.
The wheels are falling off!
seems like it's back up now (Thurs 6/12) and submissions are going through
Too bad the news is more concerned with illegals than what is being done to SSA and other agencies.
Right! If only we could have a big parade for the programs that keep people out of poverty and healthy in old age and times of disability or death. #priorities
