The Gordon Gecko flu season is finally over. One more hangover weekend and we can get back to normalcy.
Actually, only Christmas Day is over. Today is the third day of Christmas. Christmas ends on Epiphany on January 6th. Hence the song about the twelve days of Christmas.
You have too much time on your hands......
Actually it's refreshing to know that someone knows about the Epiphany & the 12 days. cause here in CA. Christmas season is over after the 25th:( but the shopping season is going on a lot longer:(, oh the priorities!!!!. I do keep up my Christmas stuff up till the Epiphany & get ridiculed for it. Too bad, maybe we could all have time for more Peace on Earth INSTEAD of disrespectful crowds. Not every one gets or stays sloshed on the holidays either.
My wife keeps the decorations up until at least February 1st. Its the 38 days of Christmas around here.
While it is not the usual subject matter on this blog, Charles, many of us do appreciate the beautiful picture postings relating to the holiday season. And, I feel sorry for the miserable "Grinch," who seems to think that the postings are a waste of time. It takes me less time to view the beautiful picture and pass onto other matters than it does to delete the usual junk on my email that gets past my spam filters.
