Joe Davidson writes for the Washington Post on the serious service delivery problems that the Social Security Administration has and on the cause of these problems -- grossly inadequate administrative appropriations.
Kudos to Mr. Davidson for this article. People in the know all realize what's going on here already. Underfunding agency costs is the far right's way of attacking popular Social Security programs in a way that's difficult for the public to perceive and hold them accountable for. It's good to get the truth out to the public with stories like this especially with elections coming up.
