I had posted earlier this week that Social Security’s websites showing the number and total amount of attorney fees that Social Security has paid each month and contact information for its payment centers had disappeared. They’re back up now. I have no idea what happened.

I was at the NADR conference and Mary Quatroche from the Office of Retirement and Disability Policy spoke on Friday. During the Q&A, I asked about the websites being down. She said she didn't know about it and would check into it. I'd love to take credit but it could just be a coincidence.
I know NOSSCR also checked with the Office of External Affairs about it. Hopefully between Policy and Communications and this blog they realized people noticed and cared.
Ever thought it was an accident? Stuff happens. Had a couple pages wander off of our website before due to host errors. But I guess that doesn't make for righteous indignation then does it?
