Joe Davidson at the Washington Post has devoted a column to the effort to get Andrew Saul fired as Social Security Commissioner. It's clear that Davidson doesn't understand the constitutional issue involved but he does detail the pressure to get Saul out. Of interest to me in the column was this sentence: "Neither the agency nor Biden’s team responded to requests for comment." I have to guess that things are still up in the air.
By the way, as I've asked before, when will the Post retire that same tired photo they've been using for years to illustrate articles having to do with the Social Security Administration?

I think Davidson understands the issues, because he explains it pretty well. It's clear some of the people pushing for change don't understand the underlying issues, not Joe. And given the Trump administration propensity to make stuff up, I'd not mention SSA (and by extension, the trust funds, benefits, leadership) either. At 12.01 in Jan 20, the situation for everyone changes legally, and we may see resignations etc. Or we won't, but talking all big in public is one way to mess yourself up. Just hope they can pull out the illegal burrowers that seem to be happening all over, political to career conversions.
leave Britney, I mean Saul, alone!!
Lets see, huge pandemic with no fed guidance, a massive vaccine distribution the size and scope of which the country and world has never seen, an economy teetering on the edge of collapse and countless Americans falling over the poverty cliff, some never to recover.
But yeah, this should be more important. C,mon man.
Better Call Saul may hold on like Trump being escorted out kicking and screaming.
