Commissioner Appears At 90th Anniversary Event

A Twitter post by the Social Security Administration yesterday:

Today, Commissioner Bisignano spoke at the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI) event to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Social Security alongside James Roosevelt III, grandson of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Rep. Danny Davis, and Rebecca Vallas, CEO of NASI.

Why would James Roosevelt III, grandson of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, stand next to the individual who is about to destroy one of his grandfathers greatest accomplishments is beyond me.

I’d like to see O’Malley, Kijakazi, King, Dudek, Colvin and Bisignano all unite to celebrate Social Security. As employees we’d find that unity comforting and offering us reassurance. All the infighting is bad for our mental wellness.

Astrue and O'Malley have been on panels together at a couple of different NASI events (including one where Colvin was also going to attend but was apparently unwell). One video is online https://www.nasi.org/events/past-conferences-events/bipartisan-ssa-commissioners-and-expert-academy-members-on-recent-doge-cuts-at-ssa/

Do you think he had to Google what this event was about too?

Did he do this before or after he canned Evangelista?

I was just wondering the same exact thing!

He fired Stephen Evangelista?

Evangelista is gone now too ?!?! Is there anyone left?

Where did you see this?

Mental wellness? You are in the wrong line of work.

I thought he mentioned him and looked directly at him on the all managers call yesterday. Can someone actually confirm this Evangelista rumor?

I hope the SOB is gone for good, but I bet he gets to stick around collecting SES pay to write his sh**ty music with a different job title. Justice rarely happens at SSA, particularly when the fascist baby is in the white house.
