Probation For Threats In Alaska

From the Anchorage Daily News:
An Anchorage man pleaded guilty to threatening Social Security Administration employees over unpaid medical benefits and was sentenced Friday in federal court to five years' probation. ...

Prosecutors say Stockheim sent a Social Security Administration employee threatening e-mails in April, saying he would kill Anchorage police officers if the SSA didn't pay his medical bills. The same month he threatened to bring weapons to his next SSA hearing. When Anchorage police and federal officers approached Stockheim at his home, he became violent, prosecutors say.

The last sentence of the article is interesting: "Beistline (the judge) on Friday ordered Stockheim to continue mental health treatment and medicine." Let's hope that his probation officer keeps a very close track on his use of medication and his mental health treatment. Otherwise, this time bomb is going to go off and we'll be reading about a tragedy.

People need to know that PC7 no longer allows field offices to call the Payment Center MODs about things like retro benefit payments, but set up a special phone number for attorneys to check on their fee. Wonder why people are mad.
