Earnings comprise 25.6% of the distribution, but only for those who are still working.

For those who do not work, the pie gets smaller and the OASDI piece becomes 53.4%.

Without factoring in any earnings, OASDI provides more than 2x the income of the older population as compared with pensions and annuities:

OASDI - 53.5%
PENSIONS AND ANNUITIES - 26.5%
ASSETS - 17.5%
OTHER - 2.5%
