What does "officially sanctioned" mean? Is SSA kindly helping private disability insurance carriers collect "overpayments" of benefits paid while SSA DIB claims are pending? If not, exactly why does a legitimate private law firm need SSA to approve its operations? I don't like the sound of this at all.
I thought being sanctioned by SSA was a bad thing.
